A textbook is a textbook, there's only so good they can get, but this one is one of the better ones. This book accomplishes one of the main ideas of being an anthropologist: be informative without judging. They present a wide variety of cultures and customs while also providing interesting history and stories. It was one of the more interesting textbooks that I've had to read and it did a decent job of keeping my attention. Good luck in your course!
